It’s officially been 11 days without sweets.
I’m surviving quite well, if you’re wondering π
Luckily, I haven’t had any cravings, and I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything…as of yet lol.
However, there were a few occasions when I was close to eating sweets, but only out of habit.
While in the process of fixing sweets for one of my kids, I got preetyyy close to popping a few bites in my mouth. I survived, however!
How I’m Feeling
Surprisingly, — especially due to my track record of eating sweets on a very often basis — I haven’t missed eating sweets.
Deep down, I know they’re no good for my body, or my energy level for the matter.
It’s said that sweets (sugar) is addictive. I think it’s safe to say that I simply ate sweets because the Sugar Monster wanted more… and more
Luckily, I didn’t have any annoying detox symptoms.
However, and this is extremely TMI, the tremendous amount of sugar I ate caused me to have so much mucus build up (that I FELT btw) within my body that emptied itself in the toilet. I told you it was TMI, lol.
But, isn’t it crazy the amount of stuff we put into our bodies!? It’s hard to truly know what the crap we eat does to our bodies. No pun intended lol.
What Else I’m Doing…
This challenge has inspired me to get serious with my health.
If you’ve read this post, then you know that I’m not new to beginning and stopping my wellness journey over and over again.
It’s easy to get discouraged by the amount of times I’ve struggled on this journey, but I will continue to look forward and not backwards.
I digress though.
I’ve been eating more healthily, completing 21 Day Fix, and so far I look forward to eating ONE MEAL that is less healthy, but still healthy, on the weekends. Hopefully this works for me. That’s what this journey is all about; finding balance and working hard against the odds.
I’ve also been doing online research that supports my reasoning for wanting to be healthy. I’m still in the beginning stages of this, so I’ll update a little later.
Until then… tell me. What health goals are you working on this year, or even this month?

Wow, this must have been hard. I have done a 40 day cleans where did not have sweets and meats and it was hard.
