I’m gearing up for “that time.”
dun, dun, dun….
On January 2nd, 2022, myself, my mom, and my husband will be taking on the challenge of NO SWEETS for six very long weeks. {insert dramatic gasps here lol}
What The Torture?!
At this point in my life, especially in regards to my health journey, I need structure.
I’ve never been a big eater. In fact, I’m a habitual meal skipper. Either way, it’s unhealthy.
However, sweets is my forte. My mom and I have even gone as far as stating that we could live off of sweets breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Yeah, I’m a bit embarrassed at the fact, lol. Can’t you see why we need to do this challenge?!
Did I mention the challenge will last for 6 excruciating weeks?? I can do it though!
Slowly, but surely I am weaning myself off of processed foods in order to reset my tastebuds. Unfortunately — and this is what I realized today as I watched the notorious kids show, Blippie, as he annoyingly bragged about his healthy lunch meal that I thought looked uber disgusting — my tastebuds are screwed. I crave what I want and hate what I actually need. (sigh and eye roll)
Btw, I’m a health coach and I realize how horribly horrible this is. However, this (life) isn’t about perfection. This is me being TrAnSpArEnT lol. I’m a work in progress, umkay! Which is why I’m here, writing (or typing) on this blog page that I’m strangely getting the feels of it being my diary lol.
Anywho…this endeavor will be a long, yet short one of which I’ll be back to document and update on later.
