Foods I Eat to Burn Fat & Build Muscle

Hey there!

Firstly, if you’re here, you more than likely came from the Instagram Reel I posted.

Thank you for coming.

Secondly, if you are a busy person like me, I HATE recipe sites that have a sh*tload of text before getting to the actual recipe!

We not doing that around these parts.

So… here ya’ go! Tap (or click) on the recipe name or photo to be directed to the recipe.

Enjoy 🙂

Always remember; Eat the way you desire to FEEL & you won’t go wrong in life!

Slow Cooker Honey Sriracha Wings (check below if link isn’t working)

This is a family favorite in our house.

No, I lied.

It’s a favorite for my husband and I, as the wings are too spicy for my kiddos.

However, more for us! 🙂

This meal is high in protein and can be paired with a side salad, rice, mashed potatoes, french fries… you get the idea.

Wild-caught Salmon on a bed of Roasted Vegetable Salad (& side salad)

Anyone who knows truly knows me, knows that I am a fanatic about well-seasoned meats.

I used to enjoy bland foods, but my southern roots have reared it’s head, lately.

I need seasonings, baby!

When it comes to buying fish, make sure it is wild-caught. (farm raised fish has 10 times more toxins than wild-caught fish. )

How do I cook my salmon?

Throw it in the oven at 400 degrees and cook for 20 minutes.

If you enjoy fish, please try this recipe!

Feel free to pair the salmon with wild rice (yes, I LOVE wild rice) or brown rice, asparagus, or any veggie you fancy.

Taco Salad

Want to know how to make ya’ man MAD!?

And, I don’t mean mood mad.

I mean, fall in love witcha’ all over again, MAD!

Because that’s exactly what happens to my husband when I prepare this meal.

This recipe is tasty, light, and well-balanced with protein, carbs, veggies, and healthy fats.

You will finish this meal content and happy!

P.S. this recipe doesn’t include wild rice, but are you really surprised that I choose to add it in!?

Cucumber Chicken Salad

This baby is an original recipe and extremely easy to make.

Cut up some romaine lettuce (or buy the bag) and add in grilled chicken strips, cucumber, shredded low-fat cheese, cherry tomatoes (halved) and croutons.

Drizzle your favorite salad dressing on top (Olive Garden is where it’s at- and yes, it is sold in stores!) and enjoy!

Cheeseburger Quesadilla

I’ll be honest, this recipe isn’t one of my favorites, but my youngest daughter LOVES it.

She really enjoys the “special sauce” that is paired with it.

Even more honestly, I prefer the sauce over the quesadilla.

You know what…? I just figured it out!

This recipe doesn’t include SEASONING your meat!

I beg to differ, though!

Season that meat hunni, and this recipe will go from MEH to ALL THAT!

Well-Seasoned Chicken Thighs (check below, if link isn’t working)

My, oh, my!

My stomach is growling just thinking about the tenderness and flavor of these chicken thighs.

You may notice that the recipe is for chicken leg quarters, but thighs work, too.

FYI: depending on the cut on chicken and how much chicken you have on hand, I recommend cutting down on the suggested salt, for obvious reasons.

Also, in case you need the tip: Chicken breast, thighs, and quarter legs will always come out tender AF when you cover whatever you use to cook in, with foil.

I’m just sayin’!

Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

Who cooks sloppy joes in the crockpot?!

I doooo!

Although, it’s much quicker to cook on the stove, I cook it in the crockpot for the simple fact that this recipe is superrr flavorful, filling, clean, and good!

The celery is the best part!

Lazy Slow Cooker Pepper Soup

Did I mention how much I love crockpot meals??

It makes the life of this busy wife and mom of three, so much easier.

This soup is a family hit in my house!

You know how in the winter time you crave a nice, hot soup?

This is it!

I don’t like all the cutting of veggies that’s required (I’m sure I could use a processor to help) but it’s well worth it.

You will finish this meal feeling refreshed and like you did your body good.

Greek Yogurt Granola Parfait

I didn’t become a huge Greek yogurt fan until this year.

I love that it’s high in protein and low in calories, and you can pair it with whatever you like.

For this original recipe, I simply added a cut up Georgia peach, a bit of granola, and green grapes.

Thank You!

If you read this far, I appreciate you.

I hope these meals help you.
